Helen Frank received her training in printmaking at Cooper Union, Yale, and Temple University's Tyler School of Fine Arts. Among her teachers were George Grosz, Abraham Rattner, and Seymour Lipton. Her images encompass her extensive travels as well as life at home with her family. She currently resides in northern New Jersey.
