Laurent Schkolnyk was born in Paris in 1953. He studied drawing and etching at the Ecole de Beaux-Artes in Nantes, France. Schkolnyk later studied with Professor Guimezanes, who taught him the three-color mezzotint technique. Schkolnyk has had numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world. Laurent Schkolnyk currently lives and work in Nantes, France.
